Terms of Service

DRAFT — not legal advice, not yet reviewed by a lawyer. Source: docs/legal/DRAFT-TERMS.md.

1. What Coaching Vault is

Coaching Vault pulls your training data from the sources you connect (TrainingPeaks, Strava, Analog Sports, and any wearable data that flows through those), and uses it to build individualised training plans and give your coach a fuller picture of your training. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what is collected and how.

2. The role of AI

  • A plan you receive was drafted by an AI that your coach connected to their own account (for example Claude from Anthropic, or ChatGPT), reasoning from your own recorded data, general sports-science knowledge, and your coach's written coaching directives.
  • No AI publishes a workout to TrainingPeaks by itself. Every draft is reviewed and approved by your coach before it reaches you, gated by a same-day human authorisation step.
  • Where a session rests on a statistical/ML reading of your own data, the plan says so.
  • You may ask your coach to explain the basis for any prescribed session.

3. Your account and your data

  • You do not need an AI account of your own. Your coach connects theirs; the AI work behind a plan runs on your coach's account, not on the platform's.
  • If you have a rider login, you can see everything your coach sees about your training.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of anything you enter yourself (weight, height, date of birth, notes) — a hand-entered value is only ever used where no connected source has already supplied it.

4. Your data rights

  1. Export everything held about you, in one bundle, at any time.
  2. Request deletion of your data. Irreversible once carried out; a short audit record is kept after deletion, without your training content.
  3. Know how long your data is kept — see the named retention question in the Privacy Policy §5, which is a genuinely open decision, not yet settled.

5. What the platform does not do

  • It does not sell your data.
  • It does not auto-publish any plan without a human coach's review and approval — enforced in code, not only policy.
  • It does not make financial, medical, or other high-stakes decisions on your behalf — coaching guidance is guidance, reviewed by a human coach.

6. Changes and acceptance

This is a DRAFT. Once Kevin confirms a final version, athletes will be asked to accept it before the platform is used for them, and any future change will be communicated before it takes effect.

7. Contact

For any data-rights request (export, deletion, a question about what is held), contact your coach directly, or kevin@powerhousecycling.com.au.
